Learn. Support. Grow in the Field of Applied Behavior Analysis.

ABA Undergraduate Internship Program

The Autism Rising ABA Undergraduate Internship Program offers hands-on experience, clinical mentorship, and a front-row seat to meaningful community work.

GROW WHERE IT MATTERS

The field of Applied Behavior Analysis needs compassionate, skilled professionals who understand autism from the inside out. At Autism Rising, we are committed to developing the next generation of those professionals, starting here.

Our ABA Undergraduate Internship Program is designed for students pursuing degrees in psychology, behavior analysis, or related fields who are ready to move beyond the classroom and into the real work. You will gain hands-on exposure to ABA principles, work alongside experienced clinicians, and contribute to a mission that is actively changing outcomes for children and families impacted by autism.

Our goal is to cultivate future professionals who are not only skilled in ABA but also compassionate, culturally responsive, and community-focused.

What You Will Do

As an Autism Rising ABA intern, your experience will be supervised, meaningful, and grounded in real-world application. You may:

  • Assist with implementation of behavior intervention plans under clinical supervision

  • Support skill-building activities across communication, social, and daily living areas

  • Observe and document client behaviors in structured settings

  • Learn data collection methods and foundational ABA terminology

  • Support group sessions and community-based programming

  • Participate in team meetings and case discussions with experienced clinicians

What You Will Gain

This internship is more than a line on a resume. You will walk away with:

  • Hands-on exposure to ABA techniques and evidence-based interventions

  • Direct experience working with children on the autism spectrum

  • A working understanding of ethical and professional standards in ABA

  • Mentorship from credentialed, experienced clinicians

  • Preparation for your next step — whether that is RBT certification, a BCaBA credential, or a graduate program in behavior analysis

Father Teaching Child

Our goal is to cultivate future professionals who are not only skilled in ABA but also compassionate, culturally responsive, and community-focused.
