Autism Rising, LLC is committed to ensuring that www.autismrising.org is accessible to all individuals, including those with disabilities. We strive to provide an inclusive and equitable digital experience consistent with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as well as the requirements of Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, where applicable.

1. Our Commitment

We believe that all people, regardless of ability, deserve full and equal access to our information, programs, and services. As a nonprofit organization serving the autism community, accessibility is not only a legal obligation but a core value of our mission.

2. Accessibility Features

We have taken the following steps to enhance the accessibility of our website:

  • Use of descriptive alternative text for images and non-text content.

  • Logical and consistent page structure with proper heading hierarchy.

  • Keyboard navigability throughout the site.

  • Sufficient color contrast ratios for text and background elements.

  • Avoidance of content that flashes more than three times per second.

  • Clear and descriptive link text throughout the site.

3. Known Limitations

While we strive to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards across the entire website, some content or third-party integrations may not yet fully conform. We are actively working to identify and resolve any accessibility barriers on an ongoing basis.
